Donations
Gippsland Women's Health Service Deductible Gift Status enables us to receive donations for which donors are able to claim a tax deduction for gifts or donations of $2 or more.
Given the large geographical size of the Gippsland region and the fact that we are the only women's health service in the catchment, we welcome and value donations to enable us to broaden the reach of our current programs and to offer additional programs and resources to a greater number of women within the Gippsland area. Funds received will be utilised to extend our health promotion strategies and to maintain up-to-date resources in the library.
Our health promotion priorities for 2007-2009 are:
- Violence against women
- Sexual and reproductive health
- Reducing and minimising harm from alcohol and other drugs
- Promoting mental health and wellbeing.
Current projects include:
- Girls on the Edge: Art Postcard Project
- Lifeskills for Women
- Gippsland Young Women's Telelink Cancer Support Service
- Family Violence and Schools Project
- Family Violence Community Education.
