Enabling Women in Gippsland - Sale

An invitation for women with disabilities to take the lead!

Sale Leadership Program - Free

Enabling Women in Gippsland is running a 6-day leadership program.

The leadership program provides the opportunity for women with disabilities to come together, share their experience of disability, find solutions together to the problems they experience and that they see in their communities.

The Enabling Women Program was developed by Women with Disabilities Victoria.

Topics covered include:

  • Getting to know you.
  • The Social Model of Disability.
  • Self-Identity – getting to know ourselves better.                                   
  • Human Rights.
  • Communication.
  • Advocacy Parts 1 and 2.
  • Leadership Evolution.
  • The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Saturdays 14 April, 28 April, 5 May, 12 May, 19 May, 26 May 2018
(No session on Saturday 21 April 2018)

10.00am – 3.00pm once a week for six (6) weeks. Graduation ceremony on a date after week 6.
